Product Description
The Bently Nevada 3500/45 Position Monitor is a 4-channel condition monitoring module designed for machinery protection and measurement of various shaft and component positions. It accepts inputs from proximity probes, DC/AC LVDTs, rotary potentiometers, and rotary position transducers (RPTs). The module processes these inputs and compares them against user-programmable alarm setpoints, ensuring robust machine protection and precise condition monitoring.
Each of the four channels can be configured using 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform functions such as:
-
Thrust (Axial) Position
-
Differential Expansion
-
Standard, Non-standard, Dual Ramp, and Complementary Input Differential Expansion
-
Case Expansion
-
Valve Position
Channels operate in pairs, enabling simultaneous execution of two different monitoring functions.
This monitor is an essential part of the Bently Nevada 3500 Series, offering continuous, real-time monitoring to alert users of critical shifts in equipment behavior before failure occurs.
