Product Description
The Bently Nevada 3500/45-01-00 135137-01 Position Monitor I/O Module is an integral component of the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System. It is a 4-channel position monitoring module designed to accept signals from a wide array of transducers including Proximitor® sensors, Rotary Position Transducers (RPTs), DC and AC Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs), and rotary potentiometers.
Each pair of channels in the module can be independently programmed to perform distinct position measurements such as:
-
Thrust (axial) position
-
Differential expansion
-
Ramp differential expansion (standard, non-standard, dual, complementary)
-
Case expansion
-
Valve position
Its primary functions include:
-
Continuous monitoring for machinery protection through configurable alert and danger setpoints
-
Reliable data delivery for operational and maintenance diagnostics
The 3500/45 is highly customizable via 3500 Rack Configuration Software and is compliant with multiple global standards for EMC, safety, and hazardous area approvals.
