The NTAI05 Analog Input Termination Unit is an integral component of the INFI 90® Process Control System. This unit serves as an interface between field equipment and Bailey Controls smart transmitters. It connects to various slave modules like the IMASM01, IMASI02, and IMFBS01. The NTAI05 unit facilitates the transmission of analog signals to these modules, which then relay data to INFI 90 Multi-Function Processors (IMAMM03, IMMFP01/02/03) and Multi-Function Controllers (NMFC03/04/05).
The termination unit can handle up to 16 analog inputs, depending on the type of slave module used, either in differential or single-ended configurations. These signals are processed by the slave modules and fed into the control system for further processing and decision-making.
